The Final Count and Delivery
As you can see by the numbers already posted in the sidebar, we ended up 89 scarves and 27 caps and one pair of slippers!. This is what a pile of all those things looks like:Isn't it amazing! Looking at that pile in my home and realizing all of the time and love that pile represented was completely overwhelming.
When I dropped off all of the scarves and caps on Christmas Eve, the women who accepted them at City of Hope were just as overwhelmed. They couldn't believe how beautiful everything was.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the Love Scarf Project 2006. I know the love and cheer your handmade items brought to the men and women at City of Hope over the holidays was a priceless gift,
And remember, it's never too early to start your needles and hooks for the Love Scarf Project 2007!
