December 2008 Report

On Wednesday, December 17, 2008, the Lovescarf Project delivered approximately 150 scarves and caps to cancer patients at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. There were enough items so that we were able to give them to patients at the inpatient oncology center as well as to patients at the outpatient infusion center.

We want all of you to know how appreciated these gifts were.

We want those of you who worked so hard knitting these beautiful scarves and caps as well as those of you who went to the trouble of shopping for them to know of the joy you brought to patients and how much these gifts were appreciated by these people who are going through a very difficult time.

We look forward to collecting items again the fall of 2009 so we can deliver them in December.
